A young peasant girl falls in love with a new arrival in her community who turns out to be a terrorist. Out of love, she becomes part of the Communist Party Shining Path but, faced with destruction and death, she abandons her love and chooses life.
Una joven campesina se enamora de un estudiante que resulta ser terrorista, pero frente a la destrucción y la muerte, abandona a su amor y opta por la vida.
